The 1960s and ’70s presented a skinematic revolution of uninhibited actresses spreading their bods on drive-in screens across the lands. And countercultural cutie Karen Black kicked off her career by stroking the Zeitgeist with plenty of provocative performances. After appearing in The Second Hundred Years (1967) and Hard Contract (1969), Karen played a panty-clad party chick in the biker flick Easy Rider (1969), wherein she flashed her butt cheeks and bush! As one of Jack Nicholson’s easiest pieces in Five Easy Pieces (1970), the offbeat ingénue donned see-through negligees that showed off her briefs and nipples beneath. No wonder, she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress! Ms. Black added another Globe to her collection for her titillating turn in The Great Gatsby (1974). But not before she flashed her headlights in Drive, He Said (1972) and Cisco Pike (1972). At the risk of being predictable, Karen let a body double bare “her” buttocks in The Pyx (1973) yet exposed her own brassiere, breasts and bush in The Day of the Locust (1975). She skinny-dipped with Oliver Reed in Burnt Offerings (1976) and revealed her rack to Tom Berenger in In Praise of Older Women (1978). As the new decade rolled in, Karen continued to display her naked T&A with Separate Ways and expose her mams and muff with Killing Heat in 1981. She also unleashed her pups in Miss Right (1982) and Can She Bake a Cherry Pie? (1983). We’re not sure if Karen can bake, but she sure is piping hot!
